摘要
The current development of the electrical power system regarding the implementation of renewable energies raises the need for an increased and improved controllability of the transmission system. This covers a more homogeneous utilization of the transmission system, to curtail power system extension. To cope with this challenge, load-flow controlling devices can be implemented into the transmission system. Up to now, this task has been fulfilled with phase shifting transformers, which are however limited regarding their dynamics. In the future, this can hence be adopted by power electronics. This paper thus investigates the controlling range of possible technologies in a simple test system, to further analyze possible power electronics topologies. Results show, that a suitable load-flow control can be realized with self-commutated converters as a well-known topology.
