摘要
In the process of steel ball surface defect detection, steel ball surface unfolding mechanism is the key issue. Meridian unfolding mechanism for steel ball surface is used to fully unfold the steel ball surface in the defect detection process. Meridian unfolding mechanism for steel ball surface uses specific asymmetric structure of meridian round to unfold the steel ball surface. It analyzes the principle of meridian wheel, and establishes three-dimensional entity model of steel ball surface unfolding mechanism using CATIA software. The meridian wheel unfolding diameter of steel ball is 3.969 mm to 8 mm. Using ADMAS simulation software simulated the angular velocity variations of the unfolding wheel, driving wheel, clamping wheel and steel ball in the process of steel ball unfolding, location of the center of mass of steel ball variations and the stress change process. It also analyzes all the parts of the stress change curve, the angular velocity change curve of steel ball and the center of mass displacement change curve in different clamping force during the process of steel ball unfolding. The conclusion has important significance for steel ball surface defect detection in actual production.
