Analysis of Influencing Factors on Infield-Logistics of different Farm Types in Germany

In future, performance or efficiency improvements will be achieved no longer just by increasing working widths or higher engine power but also by optimized production processes. In agriculture especially harvest chains with several interacting vehicles provide substantial reserves in productivity. Navigation of machines within a field offers one possibility to get this potential accessible. Basis of practical route planning is the knowledge of influencing factors which induce farmers to certain infield strategies. In form of expert interviews farmers all over Germany are interviewed about their infield logistics to analyze their individual decision behavior and to derive general statements.
