摘要：

WebRTC brings Real-Time Communications (RTC) to the web, enabling the possibility of rich, innovative and engaging multimedia communication applications directly in the web browser without the need for a plugin. More significantly though, WebRTC has the potential to be hugely disruptive as it greatly reduces the barriers for provision of over-the-top communications services, providing any web developer with the basic tools to build such applications with ease.
