摘要
As part of a larger investigation focusing on the outcomes of service-learning (SL) in the higher educational institutions in the Philippines, this study examines the SL integration in higher education curriculum experience of college teachers. The participants involved were ten teachers from one of the reputable universities in the Philippines. For this study, the data were primarily collected through the reflections, which the participants wrote as a self-assessment and after designing an SL curriculum. A semi-structured interview was conducted to check for consistency of the participants' reflections. The data were analyzed using open coding techniques. The analysis revealed the challenges encountered by the participants and their strategies to confront them, the lessons they learned from the experience, and the implications of their experience for SL implementation.
