摘要
In this paper, we consider the ground state solutions for a class of nonlinear Schrodinger equations {-Delta u + V(x)u = lambda u + K(x)vertical bar u vertical bar(p-2) u in R-N u epsilon H-1 (R-N) where 2 < p < 2*. We investigate the case lambda > inf sigma(-Delta + V), i.e., an indefinite problem. We characterize the ground states as minimizers of the variational functional on a modified Nehari manifold.
