摘要
To reduce development risks of next generation of Agile Earth Observation Spacecraft, ESA funded the 2 years Technical Research Program named "Precision Agile Control System" (PACS). The main objective is to carry out real-time closed-loop performance tests on an agile Attitude Control and Measurement System (ACMS) simulator using a Control Moment Gyro (CMG) breadboard in the loop. The cost-effective approach of the project is reached by using to a maximum extent autocoding process (Matlab (R) tools) both for On-Board Attitude Software (OBASW) and Simulation Environment development. This paper will depict the ACMS designed for the reference mission SPECTRA and focus on the principle of the CMG cluster control law. The design and development activities of the OBASW and Real-Time Test Bench (RT-TB) will also be described. Conclusion will present the main test results and lessons learned while commending a real CMG.
