摘要：

The great Internet explosion in the last few years has revolutionized the way business is conducted, fueling the rapid development of electronic commerce. In order to streamline the supply chain and ease the entire process to B2B e-commerce, a common standard and protocol for exchanging business messages become very necessitous. As a new business standard RosettaNet eliminate the burden of defining individual interactions and interfaces for each partner. This paper discusses the RosettaNet standard at length, in the following sections: the origins of RosettaNet, three core areas of the RosettaNet standard. Moreover this paper further analyses that RosettaNet can inspire to the Chinese construction industry, in addition the small and medium-sized enterprises also get some new chances.
