摘要
The lattice site of Hf in near-stoichiometric LiNbO3 was studied combining ion beam and hyperfine interaction methods. In contrast with congruent crystals, where Hf fully replaces Li, in near-stoichiometric crystals Hf replaces both Li and Nb, in relative fractions that depend on the amount of HfO2 introduced in the melt. The amount of dopant affects also the defect structure of the crystals.
