摘要
This work proposes new extensions to the design procedure of planar microwave filters based on the inversion of the one-dimensional TLM (Transmission Line Matrix) method. The enhancements of the technique are based on the use of different TLM basic cells (nodes) to solve the inverse scattering problem. These enhancements solve some problems associated with the use of the link-line TLM basic cell in the inverse scattering TLM procedure. The goal of these new cells is to design new kinds of microwave filters and adequately represent the inversion of one-dimensional permittivity profiles. In both cases the input data is the time-domain input reflection coefficient. The procedure can be used to design filters and to solve one-dimensional inverse scattering problems.
