The cross coupling control of the contour error based on zero phase error tracking controller

摘要
After analyzing a great deal of contour error data in precision-contour-machining system, we think that the contour error can be reduced by means of diminishing the tracking error. On the basis of above research, one new kind of compound control strategy with the help of Cross-Coupling Controller (CCC) and Zero Phase Error Tracking Controller (ZPETC) will be presented in this paper. Cross-Coupling Controller is used in order to increase the match degree among all axes and make the contour error reduced. Zero Phase Error Tracking Controller works as the feed-forward controller so as to improve the fast and accurate tracking performance. The simulation results show that the contour machining precision is really and greatly improved after using our above compound control strategy.
