摘要
We have observed heavy-gas trapping in stationary ultrasonic fields. This effect as well as the recently observed cold-gas traps have been investigated. Both can be explained by the difference in mass density between the trapped gas and ambient media. A first theoretical approach is given. (C) 2002 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
