摘要：

Polarization spectroscopy in optical near-field measurements is an important method for evaluation of material properties and structures. A novel type of fiber probe has been developed with a sub-wavelength slit-shaped aperture as an optical device for polarization sensitive spectroscopic observations at the extreme nano-scale range. This probe features high throughput and sensitivity for a wide range of near-field sampling applications. The polarization degree is 10 times greater than that of conventional near-field probes.
