A lower bound for the density of the steady Navier Stokes equations

摘要
In this paper, we study the approximation system to the steady compressible Navier-Stokes equations. It is proved that the density has a positive lower bound. And we use the lower bound to study the distribution of the density for a family of elliptic equations. A further investigation gives a typical upper bound of the density, and its limit functions only fit the solutions with the velocity divergence free. (C) 2019 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
