EFFECT OF FOLIAR NANO-FERTILIZATION OF NITROGEN AND BORON ON GROWTH AND YIELD OF FABA BEAN (VICIA FABA L.)

摘要
A field experiment was carried out in one of the agricultural fields in the Rumaitha district, Muthanna Governorate during the agricultural season 2018/2019 in order to study the effect of spraying of nano-fertilization of nitrogen and boron on growth and yield of faba bean. The experiment was applied according to complete random sectors design (R.C.B.D), in the order split plot design with three replicates, as they placed the concentrations of nano nitrogen in main plots with three concentrations (zero, 50, 100 ml L-1) and symbolized by the symbol (N-0, N-1, N-2) in succession while the boron nano-fertilization were placed in secondary plots (0, 1.5, 3 ml L-1), which is symbolized by symbol (B-0, B-1, B-2) on the sequence, The process of spraying with nanonitrogen was carried out a month after planting. As for the nano-boron, the process of spraying was carried out on two times, first one at the beginning of flowering and second when the plants reached 50% flowering. The data were statistically analyzed using the genstate program according to used design, the mean scores were compared according to the L.S.D test under the probability level of 5%. It was obtained at the height of the plant exceeding the treatment of N-2 recorded an average of 79.31 cm and concentration of nitrogen in the leaves excelled N-3 recorded 42.70 gm. kg(-1) and B-2 recorded 42.57 gm.kg(-1) and the number of pods excelled N-3, which recorded 16.39 pods. Plant(-1) and B-2 recorded 17.29 pods.Plant(-1) and weight 100 seeds surpassed, recorded 135.60 gm and total yield excelled at N-2 recorded 5945 kg. ha(-1) and B-2 and recorded 6198 kg ha(-1).
