Russian entrepreneus: some aspects of current existence

Russian entrepreneur: some aspects of current existence (by Zinaida Golenkova and Elena Ighitkhanian) discusses recent experiences of the new - for Russia - layer business-people with a detailed study of their place in the social ladder. A group of 894 owners of industrial enterprises, officially published statistics and secondary data of monitoring survey effected by other academic institutions (summarily totaling 8422 individuals) served for the authors as empirical base. The subject under study was found to display outspoken dynamism in their social activity culminating in the making of previously unseen economic activity structure, of a variety of institutions illuminating developing force of entrepreneurship.
