摘要
Evaluation of corrosion behavior of E32 naval steel with sandblasted surface and without corrosion protection coating was performed using electrochemical methods. It was compared to the corrosion resistance of the E32 surfaces coated with polymeric film for corrosion protection, respectively the naval steel E32 coated with an epoxy primer and E32 naval steel coated with epoxy primer over which polyurethane acrylic paint. Corrosion characterization was performed using electrochemical methods, following the influence of time on the corrosion process resulting from the interaction of E32 steel with and without anticorrosive protection coatings. In this case, the monitoring time was 98 days (14 weeks) and the electrochemical measurement protocol was repeated every week. Electrochemical measurements show that the epoxy primer on which a polyurethane acrylic paint was applied as a corrosion protection method for the E32 naval steel substrate improves the corrosion resistance of naval steel E32 in natural sea water.
