摘要
Great progress has been made in the phase relationship, strengthening mechanisms, oxidation mechanism, relationships among composition, microstructure and properties, processing and application of high temperature TiAl alloys (high Nb containing TiAl alloy). This paper has especially focusing on the advanced techniques for the fabrication and processing, including direct solidification, powder metallurgy and advanced porous TiAl alloys. The paper also discusses the improvement of long-term oxidation resistance for high temperature TiAl alloys.
