A case of a young nulliparous patient with slight vaginal bleeding after a short period of amenorrhoea is presented. During laparoscopy, a haemorrhagic mass was seen, bulging from the right ovary, which was thought to be an ovarian ectopic pregnancy. The mass was successfully excised laparoscopically. Subsequent histological examination confirmed the diagnosis. Laparoscopic surgery is a simple, safe and effective method of treating suitable cases of ovarian ectopic pregnancy. Minimal tissue handling during laparoscopic surgery would maximize future reproductive function.
