摘要
In this article, we are going to compare between the performance of two techniques of control: the Direct Torque Control (DTC) and the Field Oriented Control (FOC), for Synchronous Reluctance Motor (SRM) drives. These two strategies are the most well known in the vector command methods and give a powerful solution for high-performance drives to reach maximum operation at optimum torque, raised effectiveness and good power factor with reduced losses. This paper presents also the simulation results of these techniques with SRM drives. Features of both methods are illustrated after different simulation tests, with Matlab/ Simulink software.
