摘要
Bruise darkness of apple fruit (Malus domestica Borkh. cultivars 'Granny Smith', 'Golden Delicious', and 'Jonathan') was examined in relation to fruit temperature (0, 10, and 20 degrees C) at time of injury, and following 4-day storage at 0, 10, or 20 degrees C. The temperature of 'Golden Delicious' at bruising had no effect on bruise darkness but for the other cultivars, colder fruit temperatures were associated with darker, more obvious bruising. Darker bruises were also more likely to develop on apples which were stored at 0 degrees C.
