摘要
For controlling the vibration of offshore platform excited by wave load, an active mass damper (AMD) is designed accounting for AMD constraints in this paper The offshore platform is modeled as a single-degree-of freedom. system. And the controller is designed by classical linear optimal control strategy within the limits of its stroke and control input force. The feasibility of this design method is assured by numerical simulation of the offshore platform with an AMD under random wave load. Also, the numerical results show that the proposed method is quite effective in reducing the vibration response of offshore platform.
