摘要：
Most terrain-aided navigation (TAN) methods use some type of correlation-based fix algorithm for updating the inertial navigator. This takes more computation than is really necessary and also complicates the terrain-selection problem. The present paper offers an alternative approach using an associative memory, which overcomes some of the disadvantages of correlation methods.
