摘要：

The paper reviews the trends and recent changes of income distribution in Latin America. setting them in the context of the style of development that prevailed in the region during the post-war period and of the processes of adjustment and structural transformation under way since the debt crisis. it also attemps to look into the coming future asking what will influence the distributive outcomes under the emerging style of development.
