摘要
As part of the study on interdisciplinary relations and changes in the field of contemporary graphic work, Spatial Blanks nests a processual exhibition on the female gaze concerning territory through the multiple objects. In the analysis of these relations between concept and aesthetic object, between technique and aesthetics, common concerns arise that fluctuated towards the same material need for repetition, incision, hybridisation or the action of printing. Concerns about space and community that reflect our reality defined by the sedimentations of these social mixtures, deterritorialization or turistffication. This exhibition brings together the visions of eight women artists of different nationalities and the Argentine collective Instantes graficos. Through the nature of the graphic work, they claim our physical and emotional connections to space. Whether through the manipulation of urban objects, the creation of aesthetic objects from their narratives, or the vindication of their transient processes, they transcend towards the review of personal and community connections in the relationship with the places we inhabit. This project makes the exhibition into a laboratory of creation, where local, national and international perspectives converge in coming and going.
