摘要
A procedure is proposed for assessing the residual life of bimetallic plates with internal and surface cracks under cyclic tension. The procedure is based on the energy approach previously developed by the authors and the basic statements of the mechanics of fatigue crack propagation. The cases of cyclic tension of bimetallic plates with internal, surface and through-the-thickness cracks are considered.
