摘要
Six array antenna configurations are investigated and compared. The configurations dyer by the number of elements and their layouts across the arrays. The arrays configurations are in the form of; Octal with Cross without central elements, Octal with Cross, Four orthogonal arrows, Cross (X) shape, Cross (+) shape, and Ring. The studied performances considered several features such as the size of focal spot, the depth of field, the level of field at focal point, and sidelobes of the focused field. Computer simulations using MATLAB are used to estimate these features. The results that are obtained from the investigated arrays can be used in different applications of arrays for near field operation.
