摘要
A Conformal SIW feed tapered antenna array for the 10 GHz frequency band is presented in this paper. The effect of SIW is investigated for the conformal design. Proposed conformal design consists of tapered array which is mounted on a curve surface having 300 mm radius. SIW backed feeding technique is used to increase the feeding efficiency. The bandwidth of the antenna is from 9.60 GHz to 10.74 GHz with the minimum return loss at 10.14 GHz and the total gain of the antenna array is 8.76 dBi. The radiation efficiency of 82.32 %. This proposed antenna array can be used for amateur radio and amateur satellite applications.
