Formation of nanoscale α-Al in a superdralumin under high current density electropulsing

摘要
The formation of nanoscale α-Al regions in an LC6 superdralumin (Al-g-Cu-Zn alloy) by a high current density electropulsing was observed. Whatever the mechanism of formation of nanoscale α-Al phase is, the phenomena suggest a new method, by which coarse grains can be in situ nanostructured under high current density electropulsing.
