This In this paper proposeswe propose a method for determining the reliability parameters of the repairable large thermal power units. Then, the WEIBULL The Weibull distribution model is applied to estimate the reliability parameters of the domesticChinese-built 300 MW- and 600-MW thermal power units. Finally, it conducts the An analysis of both the FEMA fault and reliability growth modelmodels for the two thermal power units, in order is conducted to reveal the relationship between the increase in reliability increase and the design improvement improvements made after the elimination of defects of thermal power units are eliminated. Besides, it compares the domestic. In addition, we compare the Chinese and American reliability growth models.
