摘要
Recent years have witnessed palladium-catalyzed C-H activation emerging as a versatile strategy for the construction of valuable scaffolds. Palladacyclopentane-type intermediates, usually created by C-H activation from an aryl-Pd(ii) precursor, provide opportunities for subsequent C-H hetero-functionalizations and have therefore received much attention in organic synthesis. In this review article, we summarise recent advances in the C-H hetero-functionalization of arenes through palladacyclopentane-type intermediates over the past decade.
