摘要
This article focuses on nonlinear Finite Element Analysis (FEA) of four modified Web-Bolted and Flange-Welded (WBFW) beam-column connections tested in Tsinghua University. The ultimate strength, stress distribution and stress concentration of the connections under cyclic loading are investigated. Comparisons between FEA results and experimental data show that nonlinear FEA method is satisfactory in simulating the behavior of WBFW connections under low-cycle cyclic loading.
