In this letter, a dual-band bandpass filter is proposed by consisting of spiral-shaped microstrip resonators Meanwhile, a skew-symmetric tapped feed structure is applied to introduce transmission zeros on both sides of individual passbands. and thereby improve the filter selectivity The measured results of the designed third-order dual-band bandpass filter for 2 415 2 GHz, wireless local area network applications ate ill good agreement With the simulated predictions Moreover. the filter has a size reduction of 40%. as compared with the conventional square open-loop bandpass filters (C) 2010 Wiley Periodicals, Inc Microwave Opt Technol Lett 52 543-547. 2010.
