摘要
Elemental Chlorine Free (ECF) bleaching of bamboo kraft pulp was boosted by xylanase treatment. The optimal conditions of xylanase treatment for bamboo kraft pulps are pH 9.0, temperature 65 C, xylanase dosage 1.0x10(-7) mol s(-1).g(-1), time 30 min, pulp consistency 4%. Brightness of bamboo kraft pulp bleached by O-D-1-E-op-D-2 procedure was 85.0%ISO, and was up to 88.5%ISO with xylanase pre-treatment. The reason for boosting pulp bleaching with xylanase treatment is the surface modification of kraft pulp fibres, which were revealed by scanning electron microscopy.
