摘要
Interculturality is often used in L2 Spanish didactics. However, its theoretical underpinnings are unclear and somehow ideologically biased. This paper clarifies intercultural issues as a core aspect in the field of second language teaching. To this end, it considers contributions from different fields (sociology, pedagogy, hermeneutics, or literature) which focus on the dialogical, social, and cultural condition of the human being. This approach invites a new conception of multiculturality in the humanistic-cultural classroom. Literature, this article proposes, overruns all intercultural boundaries as it represents universals beyond local issues.
