摘要：
The kinetics of isotopic phase separation of solid He-3 - He-4 mixtures has been studied by precision pressure measurements. It is found that the separation time constant exhibits a nonmonotonic temperature dependence with a minimum. This means that the rate of mass transport slows down at low temperatures, and corresponding values of the effective diffusion coefficient differ significantly from the spin diffusion coefficient measured in NMR experiments. These features may be associated with the influence of elastic stress in the two-phase crystal arising from the difference in the molar volumes of the phases. (C) 2000 Elsevier Science B.V.
