摘要
Different terminologies have been used for online learning, a fact that makes it difficult to develop a generic definition. Terms that are commonly used include e-learning, Internet learning, distributed learning, networked learning, tele-learning, virtual learning, computer-assisted learning, web-based learning, and distance learning. In a broad sense computer based education (CBE) means using computers in education for all kinds of purposes. In CBE, hypermedia, hypertext and multimedia terms are commonly used. An important division of signal processing is between analog and digital signal processing (DSP). Academic and professional organizations agree that using online-based learning environments can offer Sound pedagogical benefits. For learners, online learning knows no time zones, and location and distance are not an issue. In asynchronous online learning, Students can access the online materials at anytime, while synchronous online learning allows for real time interaction between students and the instructor.
