摘要
A dual-polarized Xi-shaped artistic patch antenna is presented. The antenna is made up of an Xi-shaped Chinese character patch and dual-layer SIW (substrate integrated waveguide) feeding structure. The simulated results show that a wide impedance bandwidth ranging 24.2 GHz to 29.7 GHz with a gain of 7 dBi for the fifth generation (5G) millimeter wave communications in China can be achieved. Due to the orthogonal dual-layer SIW feeding structure, high isolation of better than -40 dB can also be obtained.
