摘要
Any physical or cognitive action such as design, learn, walk, read or the beauty judgment of an architectural object requires the action of various brain structures, the participation of several cellular regions, in an asynchronous and fluid interconnection unconscious for individuals. The nervous system plays a fundamental role in the development, adaptation and survival of the human being and all the actions (physical and cognitive) that individuals cam , out on a daily basis depend of it. Therefore, in order to understand man and the phenomena that emerge it, it is necessary to know the structure and function of the nervous system in interaction with the surrounding environment. Thus, a new line of research called neuro-architecture is proposed, are described the objectives, fields of action, as well as the methods and techniques to be implemented. As an example of neuro-architecture implementation, are analyzed and described the physiological and cognitive processes that are activated in individuals when evoking an architectural aesthetic judgment, also some brain structures that are related to some architectural phenomena are presented.
