摘要
This study was conducted in one of the nurseries of Basra province (Karma Ali municipality nursery) 2019-2020. To know the effect of the aqueous extracts of the rhizomes of ginger, cinnamon and the interaction between them in the vegetative, flowering growth and the content of fresh flowers of beta-Carotene and lutein pigment of Tagetes erecta L., the following results were shown: The treatment of spraying with aqueous extract of ginger rhizomes at a concentration of 5 g/L gave the best results in plant height, the number of branches, percentage of dry matter of the vegetative total, as well as all flowering traits, as well as the content of flowers of the pigments beta-Carotene and lutein. Plants treated with cinnamon extract at a concentration of 5 g/L and 2.5 g/L excelled in plant height, number of branches, as well as the percentage of dry matter of the Vegetative growth. The results also gave a significant increase for the traits of the flowering group and the beta-Carotene and lutein pigments at a concentration of 5 g/L. The bi-interaction of both ginger and cinnamon rhizomes significantly excelled for both plant height at a concentration of 2.5 g/L for ginger rhizomes and 5 g/L for cinnamon treatment. Whereas, the effect of the bi-interaction of ginger rhizomes at a concentration of 2.5 g/L and cinnamon at a concentration of 5 g/L increased the flower content of the lutein dye, as well as the effect of the bi-interaction with a concentration of 5 g/L of ginger and cinnamon in all the remaining vegetative and flowering traits.
