摘要:
A high sulfur coal was desulfurized and removed ash by microwaved oxidation process. Microwave oxidation experiments were designed with Box Behnken design (BBD) and the main process variables and their interactions in microwave oxidation treatment depicted with the mathematical model. Microwave oxidation treatment resulted in a desulfurization rate of 48.38% and ash reduction rate of 42.51%. The Physical and chemical properties of the raw coal and microwaved coal were tested by Fourier Transformation Infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction (XRD), X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) and industrial analysis. FTIR and XPS demonstrated that thioether and pyrite content decreased. XRD indicated the partial removal of minerals from high sulfur coal.
