摘要：

A method for measuring the generation threshold of a passively Q-switched diode-pumped pulsed solid-state laser from the frequency-watt characteristic, which reflects the dependence of the laser-pulse repetition frequency on the absorbed pumping power, is proposed. The results of measuring the generation threshold of lasers based on Y(3)Al(5)O(12):Nd(3+) and Ca(3)Ga(2)Ge(3)O(12):Nd(3+) crystals are presented.
