摘要：
This review starts with a description of social phobia, the historical development of treatment concepts and introduces the results of metaanalyses of cognitive-behavioral treatments. The summary that follows focuses on evidence based psychodynamic treatment approaches. Furthermore the potential advantages and disadvantages of group settings to treat social phobics are discussed as well as the evidence referring to comparisons of individual and group treatments. In addition, factors influencing treatment outcome are summarized such as group process, patient factors, setting characteristics and the influence of the group leader. Based upon the review, goals for future research are discussed.
