摘要：
The statistical method for calculating T-lambda parameters has been described. The symmetry of the Er-III-doped systems has been discussed on the basis of T-4/T-6 ratio. The applicability of Judd-Ofelt theory as well as statistical method used for calculation of intensity parameters (T-lambda) has been established from r.m.s. deviation point of view.
