摘要
Herein we report the catalytic activity of magnetic Fe3O4 nanoparticles to promote the reduction of beta-lactams containing nitroaryl groups to beta-lactams containing aminoaryl groups in ethanol. The catalytic experimental conditions have been optimized to maximize the reaction productivity. This convenient and green catalytic methodology is effective to synthesize aminoaryl-beta-lactams containing sustainable groups such as Cl, MeO, alkenyl C?C, pyridine rings and beta-lactam carbonyl.
