Adjuvant therapy for stage I and II non-small cell lung cancer

摘要：
Even after curative resection, the overall 5-year survival rate for stage I and II non-small cell lung cancer remains less than optimal. In an attempt to improve survival, adjuvant therapy after curative resection has been evaluated. Chemotherapy, immunotherapy, radiotherapy, and various combinations of these have been investigated as means to improve survival. This article reviews these studies. At this time, adjuvant therapy remains investigational and its use should be limited to clinical trials.
