A study on knowledge transfer frame and factors in knowledge alliance among multinationals

In a knowledge-based economy knowledge-capital is taking the place of material-capital to become the key factor of enterprise competitions. The characteristics of knowledge made it difficult for an enterprise to improve its knowledge-capital all by itself, but knowledge-alliance provides a competitive mechanism to allow enterprise get new knowledge from outside. In the process of organizing and managing the knowledge alliance, not only knowledge transfer among enterprises is conducted, but also new knowledge will be created. Within the knowledge alliance, the integrity of the knowledge transfer frame and the effective transfer of tacit knowledge among alliances, are of momentous significance for enterprises which want to obtain the knowledge from other members. So this paper focuses on these two issues.
