摘要
The article discusses dynamic behavior of the induction machine operated as a generator. The self-excitation phenomenon is described using appropriate mathematical background. Measurements were exercised to monitor the SEIG connected in circuit with the excitation capacitor bank and variable resistive load rheostats. In the next part measurements at no-load condition and locked rotor condition, as well as the measurement of the magnetization curve required for simulation were executed. In the last part, a SEIG simulation was performed at the resistive load and the behavior of the generator was compared to the one based on measurements evaluation.
