摘要：

Mosaic illusion was illustrated as a visual aura symptom in six of 562 Migraine Art pictures. The said illusion affects the entire visual fields. The shapes of the mosaic pieces of the fractured images cover almost the entire range of form dimensions encountered in geometric visual hallucinations. It is suggested that mosaic illusion and geometric visual hallucinations share mechanisms of pathological activation of visual representations which subserve geometric feature extraction in the visual system.
