The effect of processing parameters on the properties of FeCrNi/Al2O3 composite material coatings which were prepared by high velocity arc spray technique was researched. A quadratic regression orthogonal experimental method was adopted to evaluate the effect of processing parameters on coating properties, such as bond strength, microhardness, and so on. The quantitative formulas of processing parameters with deposition ratio of hard phase, bond strength and microhardness of the coatings were obtained. The bond strength of the coatings reaches 31.2Mpa on condition that spray current, pressure of compressed air and spray distance are 140A, 0.65Mpa and 250mm, respectively. On the same conditions, the maximum deposition ratio of hard phase is obtained (about 17.46%).
